Each month a Citizens Memorial Hospital or Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation nurse is presented with this recognition. Willard Medical Center groundbreaking More than 70 guests attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new CMH Willard Medical Center & Walk-In Clinic on March 23. A little drizzle of rain did not dampen the excitement. Special speakers included Gary Fulbright, Citizens Memorial Hospital CEO/Executive Director; Corey Hendrickson, Willard Mayor; Patrick Douglas, Hospital Board Chairman; and Mylhan Myers, D.O., a physician who will be working at the new clinic. The 8,300-square-foot clinic is expected to cost $3 million and is being funded through a loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The architect is Facility Design Group, LLC, Springfield, and the general contractor is BP Builders, LLC, Rogersville. Scheduled to open in fall 2021, the clinic will include family medicine, a walk-in clinic, behavioral health services, specialty clinic services, obstetrics, pediatrics, women’s health, digital X-ray services and a laboratory. CMH plans to offer physical and occupational therapy in a separate location close to the clinic. CMH operates 13 additional family medicine, pediatric and walk-in clinics in Ash Grove, Bolivar, Buffalo, El Dorado Springs, Greenfield, Humansville, Osceola, Pleasant Hope and Stockton, Missouri.
