4 VITALITY Spring 2024 CMH’s Senior Health Center celebrates 20 years of wellness The CMH Senior Health Center keeps seniors moving and socializing in an environment designed specifically for them. “I think there are probably a lot of older people that might not feel as comfortable going to a regular gym,” says member and volunteer Linda Wainscott. “The people here are in your own age group and have their own health issues.” The facility, which offers free memberships to people 55 and older, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Davie Kaudle is 92 and has been a member for almost 20 years. His normal workout routine includes 24 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the NuStep three times a week. The other two weekdays, he attends the tai chi class. “Tai chi helps me with my coordination and balance because, at my age, I have to Want to join?
