The awards recognize businesses for their financial performance, growth, community involvement and overall impact on the Ozarks community. The awards ceremony was held July 25 in Springfield. Home Medical Equipment is online Citizens Memorial Home Medical Equipment (HME) has launched a new, easy-to-navigate website that features products, patient education videos, location information and more. DAISY Awards Citizens Memorial Hospital/Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation is proud to be a DAISY Award partner as of January 2019. The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care that nurses provide every day. The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the autoimmune disease idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in 1999. DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem. Award winners for 2019 include Cammie Wine, R.N.; Kayla Spaulding, LPN; Cody Allison, R.N.; Amanda Anderson, LPN; Mary Choate, R.N.; Cyndi Zerbey, LPN; and Carah Hicks, LPN. Cyndi Zerbey, LPN, works in the medical/surgical department at CMH. She is the recipient of the June 2019 CMH DAISY Award. ➜
