To keep CMH patients and health care professionals safe, patients have the option of seeing their primary and specialty care physicians and their midlevel and behavioral health providers online through the CMH patient portal. Virtual visits With a virtual visit, CMH providers can diagnose and order treatment for patients with common medical conditions, such as sore throat, sinus problems, stomachaches, nausea and vomiting, fever, skin problems, sports injuries, and COVID-19 symptoms— all from a secure video chat on a mobile device or desktop computer. Dedicated providers are available to see patients virtually Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patients can schedule a virtual visit by calling 417-328‑4300 or going to citizensmemorial.com/virtualvisits . Telemedicine appointments Similar to virtual visits, telemedicine appointments allow patients to stay home but still keep their appointments with their primary care and behavioral health providers and medical specialists. Medical staff can evaluate, diagnose and prescribe treatment for patients at a distance through the CMH patient portal. Patients should contact their doctor’s office for more information.
