Bartgis, D.O.; Tammie J. Callaway; Timothy W. Francka; Renee Whitman-Teeter; and Louise Wimberly. The five CMH friends and supporters were honored during the 15th annual Burgundy Ball on Sept. 15. Babb, CEO/Executive Director of CMH, was the featured speaker for the 15th annual CMH Burgundy Ball on Sept. 15.  CMH received the 2018 Missouri Quality Award, which affirms that CMH is among the elite for performance excellence in Missouri. The award was presented during a special ceremony on Nov. 15. The prestigious award is the highest level of recognition for performance excellence in Missouri and is given to only a few judged to be the best in innovation and excellence. This is the third time CMH has won the impressive award—also receiving it in 2014 and 2010. CMH is the only organization in southwest Missouri to have won the Missouri Quality Award. The Excellence in Missouri Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization, sponsors the Missouri Quality Award, which recognizes excellence in quality leadership. Modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the program offers a thorough and objective educational process through which an organization can learn and apply quality implementation techniques and assessment methods. Separate award categories are established for manufacturing, service, nonprofit, public sector, education and health care organizations.
